In 2005, I lost my husband and decided to do something responsible with what little money I recieved. So I found a dentist and chose to get veneers. Teeth are bad in my side of the family, its in the bloodline and because I love to smile, I wanted nice teeth again. I was greiving and do not remember a lot about this time period in 2005, but I do recall dishing out $9000 to get my whole top teeth done. The dentist did several root canals and grinded all the teeth down and gave me Porcelain Veneers.
I do feel I got robbed, and that he took advantage of the fact I was in such a grieving state of mind. But, they are beautiful:)
Now its 2009, and one of my teeth on the front, feels to have a pin size hole in the back of it, when i breath or open my mouth in cold air the last 2 days, i have instant pain, due to the air hitting a nerve. BUT, there shouldn't be a nerve in this tooth, so what do I do? I am 95% positive that I recieved root canals on all but maybe 3 teeth on top. Since it has been 4 years now, my question is. What can I do about getting this pin-size hole corrected & legally is there anything I can do about a tooth that shouldn't have a nerve in it giving me nerve pain?
Thanks you:)
