Ever since I was young, the dentist has always told me that I need braces, but at the time, I couldnt get them. So now, I'll be a senior next year and I'm able to get braces but I dont want to wear braces in my senior photos. I just want a perfect straight smile, and thats why Im thinking about getting Venners because its quick and easy, and with braces, I'll probably need to wear them for atleast a year (maybe even longer). The problem is, I don't know if theres an age limit on Veeners?
My bottom 3 teeth are a bit crooked and the top front 2 teeth are fine, but the 1 tooth on each side of them are sort of sunk in from the rest. (its hard to explain without a picture). If anyone knows weither braces or veeners would be best, please let me know by posting back. Also, if anyone has ever got veeners, could u let me know how much they cost. I heard that it's about $1,000 per tooth, but I'm not for sure if that's a valid price. I'll probably need anywere from 5-8 veeners.

do NOT get veneers if your only problem is tooth alignment. Veneers require tooth reduction, and in your case, it will be a lot because you stated you have crooked teeth. The more enamel is removed, the higher chance of needing root canals, and having sensitivity. They cost about 1k -1.5 k per tooth and will need to be replaced about every 10-20 years. You're only in yer teens, if you get veneers you can bet u'll be needing to repalced those suckers at least twice in this lifetime. Also, wut if you end up w/ a bad doctor? It's not reversible. so what if u'll be seen w/ braces. its not like yer in your 40's and wearing braces. Be proud of your youth. whats one NIGHT compared to a lifetime of responsibilities..? | | Poor Taste?

I don't get the phrase "instant ortho" w/ veneers, veneers do NOT correct bad bites....it jus gives off the illusion from the outside. please research on the affects of having a bad bite.......best wishes. | | Poor Taste?

Do not get veneers I have eight of them and noone can tell my teeth are any different they just tell me they are whiter.I am out over six thousand dollars and thats a lot of money just to have your teeth white.Dentists are just out to get as much money off of you as possible!I went in with my bottom teeth hurting and to this day my teeth still hurt in fact the day I had them put on my dentist watched me leave almost in tears becaues my teeth hurt so bad. | | Poor Taste?

look for a dentist who does snap-on veneers. They're temporary and costs the dentist less than US$400 for the whole upper set(don't tell him I told you). you take them off when you get tired of them | | Poor Taste?

I just had 12 veneers put on . I had a 30,000 dollar smile make over it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. The veneers look natural and white I would do it all over again to have the smile I have always wanted. I am 41 and never had braces people dont mind spending 50,000 on a car so why not invest in your smile it makes me happy to have a great looking smile .. I have 15 veneers. I had them placed by a very good dentist in the Philippines. I paid $1000 for 15 veneers and 2 root canal. How cheap is that! they havent fallen off or any problem at all its almost 3 years now. I love them. If u want veneer i totally suggest go to Philippines. There are a lot of good dentist and its cheap.although a 1000 buck is not really cheap over there. The dentist have good training. Mine was the head of the dental association over there so hes really experience and so kind. Plus u get to see a beautiful coountry with 7100 island to choose from. | | Poor Taste?
