Can you please provide the names of any dentist in the Houston area that offer the new Snap-On teeth? Also, do you know how long they last or if there are any negative aspects such as eating difficulties, speech effect, glowing under black lights, stain easily, etc.
What's the next cheapest thing to white straight teeth; bonding, caps, veneers, implants?

Hey Guys,
I went to a dentist here, and she was very against "Snap-ons" I wanted them for a wedding. Well, I have a HUGE gap in my front teeth and the "Snap On's" are about 1500.00. After consulting with her she advised me to get the cosmetic bonding. She put some of the bonding on my teeth during my consultation and it looked FABULOUS! Did not cost as much as veneers and she said bonding can be lain right on top of the teeth--this can improve the color, the shape, and gaps. The cost she quoted for my upper teeth (my lower are fine) was 2000.00-this including enlarging my (what I call vang teeth on the sides) and reshaping them, and widening my front teeth. I was a little more that "Snap on" but not near as much as Veneers and it's PERMANENT! I was so over joyed when I left the office--I cried. I am not having this procedure done for the wedding as we are running out of money. I will (after I get my teacher certification) have it done then. I really wanted to look gorgeous for my wedding--but hey--my finance obviously things I'm gorgeous with my teeth the way the are, and quite frankly everyone in my family knows and LOVES my gap (it gives personality they say)--I say it leaves an unsightly black spot on pictures! (LOL-smile.) Luckily, I am marrying a graphic designer and he said he will doctor up all the pictures and give me pearly perfect whites on the pictures. So, I am okay with that for right now--but I WILL have the bonding done my 20 class reunion coming up! Not to discourage anyone, but I looked and looked for Dentists in Houston for Snap-Ons and couldn't find a single one but her who even considered it. But, like I said she--and I am now convinced--that bonding is the way to go! | | Poor Taste?
