I had my teeth whitening by oxidizer beam and the procedure was lasting for 4 X 15 cycles. After that, I got good result and burned lip as well as super sensitive teech. I could not open my month because my teech feel sore about the cold air.
Is it normal? I asked my dentist and he said it is not big deal..

My lips are severely burned from in the office zoom whiting. They are trying to heal but is taking a long time (It has been four (4) long months so far). HELP!!! | | Poor Taste?

Did you get any answer as to why it is taking so long to heal? Have they healed yet. I'm asking because I burned my lips using a facial sauna 5 weeks ago, and I decided the other day to use my light facewash that has granuals, it has taken the dead skin off, my lips felt like they were getting better but a day later it felt like I was starting all over again with more burns. | | Poor Taste?

I just had the zoom done yesterday at 1:00pm it is now 3:00am and i am looking for HELP! my upper lip is Burned so bad and so swollen i think i may take a day or two off of work because it looks and feels so bad. i do not recomend Zoom Whitening to anyone who is uv sensitive! not only do u get liek a feverblister...a Very Big ONE at that...your whole Upper Lip inside and out! You look like you just had a bad collagen procedure and are in pain yet no one is posting any help listings! I may goto the the medical aid unit if it does not go down by 9:00 this morning. i dont really know about the pain is beauty part.... | | Poor Taste?

I just had zoom whitening done 3 days ago. The doctor told me the swelling on my lips would go down after a couple of hours. I went home and took a nap and when I woke up my lower lip was 4 times it's normal size. It kept getting worse and worse. I went to urgent care and the inside and outside of my lips were full of huge blisters, they gave me ointment for the burns, the lower lip continued to get bigger, it was horrible.
Now 3 days later, it's finally to the normal size but full of blisters inside and out, it's disgusting.
If you are sensitive to UV like I am, do not get zoom whitening. | | Poor Taste?

The inside of my bottom lip is burned from top to bottom, side to side... look like someone put tape on the inside of my lip and just wripped off all the skin. Very painful. Dentist said to get some type of dental ointment that numbs it. Been 3 days and no better. I am marching into the dentist office tomorrow so they can look at it and tell me if I need to go to a regular doctor. My take is they didn't put the protective stuff on good enough and so the lazer got thru... don't know but this should not happen!!! | | Poor Taste?

HELP!!! I had Zoom whitening done yesterday at 11:00 Am. 12 hours later I am looking for answers as to why my upper lip is so swollen. I looks like I had a botched collagen job. I can't even see my teeth when I smile. Has anyone had the same experience? if so, how long did the swelling last? | | Poor Taste?
